Teamline Privacy Policy
How we use your information and the choices you have.
Who operates Teamline
Teamline, also listed as Teamline Connect, is an independent communication service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by your employer. An approved manager must authorize your access to your store’s Teamline workspace. Your employer remains responsible for employment decisions. For privacy questions, contact teamlineappsupport@gmail.com.
Information we collect and use
We collect your email, account identifiers, profile details, role, store and access approvals. We store the content and activity you submit, including messages, posts, photos, reactions, recognition, schedules, time-off requests, reports and privacy requests. We also process notification settings, device notification identifiers, policy acceptance records, and service and security logs. Your device stores sign-in sessions and app preferences.
We use this information to provide Teamline, manage access, deliver optional notifications, respond to requests, review abuse and protect the service. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Share only information you are authorized to share; avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
Who can see your information
Approved coworkers can see content shared with their stores or channels, including profiles, recognition, schedules and time-off dates and status. Time-off notes are limited to the employee and authorized approvers. Manager Chat is restricted by role. Posts shared with All Stores may be visible across participating stores.
Authorized leaders can manage workplace access and review reports, including the reporter's identity. Reports are not anonymous. The operator and authorized technical administrators can access and export information for support, operation, security and legal obligations. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Blocking does not make a shared channel private or prevent someone from seeing your content. Contact support if a concern involves the person reviewing your report.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the app, database and media. Supabase handles sign-in. Google provides sign-in email delivery and the support inbox. Expo, Apple and browser push providers deliver notifications. These providers process information needed to supply their services, which may involve processing outside your state or country.
With your permission, OpenAI screens new images, including profile photos and converted schedule pages, for unsafe content before they are stored or shared. Images may contain personal information; we do not include your account name, email or account identifier in the screening request. You can decline and continue using features without image uploads. You can also withdraw session permission in Privacy & Safety on the web or Account options on iPhone; Teamline will ask again before a later image upload. Screening can make mistakes; contact support about rejected images or report inappropriate content for leader review.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to address safety or security concerns, or in a business transfer subject to applicable law.
Your choices
You can change notification preferences or turn notifications off in device settings. Notifications may show names and message previews on your lock screen; use device settings to hide previews. You choose which images to submit. Recipients may keep screenshots or other copies.
Contact support to request access to or correction of your information, or to report a privacy or security concern. A limited profile and block-settings download is available on the web. We verify requests and provide rights required by applicable law. Keep your email and device secure and do not share sign-in codes. Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that information will never be compromised.
Retention and account deletion
We keep information while needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. To delete your account, open Delete account while signed in and confirm Delete permanently. Deletion runs automatically and removes your login, profile, authored content, uploaded media and associated active-service data. Access is suspended during processing; failed steps retry automatically. The status screen shows completion. Contact support if processing remains incomplete.
Limited records may remain for legal obligations and documenting the deletion. Restricted backups and older exports may retain copies until securely retired; deletion must be reapplied if restored. Copies held independently by your employer or recipients are outside Teamline's control. Removing workplace access alone does not delete your account.
Minimum age and policy changes
You must be at least 16 years old and authorized to use Teamline. People under 16 are not permitted to use the app. Any additional permission or safeguards required by law still apply to eligible teenage users. Contact support if you believe someone under 16 has an account.
On iPhone, Apple may share an age range and required permissions with the app. We link an Apple app-download identifier to your Teamline account to honor parental consent withdrawals. We do not receive your date of birth or identity documents from this check. We retain a limited withdrawal record to prevent unauthorized reactivation.
We will explain material policy changes and request renewed acceptance or separate permission where required.
